Age: 49
Marital Status: Single
Have been skating for how long: I've been skating quads since the early 80's, but just started getting into inlines in the past year.
Equipment Brand and Type: Rollerblade 100mm
Life Philosophies: Take what you want and pay for it.
Favorite Time of Day to Skate: Summer 7 AM, Winter 3 PM, and 7 PM Tuesday nights
Favorite Skating Event: An afternoon doing the veloway "one more time" with skate friends. The Road Rash is pretty good too!
Most Memorable Incident: Doing the Road Rash this year.
What do you get from Skating: The camaraderie in both the inline and quad communities is great. Skating is very open-ended - there's always something new to learn.
Would like to do this Year in Skating: Get a double push going, break a 1:30 marathon, transition to "real" skates.
Coolest Accomplishment: Skating the Road Rash this year.
Other Sports/Hobbies you Enjoy: I have my private pilot's license. Dabbled in photography. Done quite a bit of rocketry.
Favorite skating gadget/tool: Right now, it has to be the iPod, but I'm starting to wish I had a wrist GPS.
Mentors: Renee Febonio and Brian Shicoff
Helpful advice to other skaters/ Beginners: Enjoy where you're at while you're getting better.
Favorite Quote: A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.
