Most Memorable Incident: Inline - most memorable incident is breaking my buckle first day out on my new skate. :( -- In roller skating, most memorable event was racing and beating my Mom when I was a kid. (She was a competitive pairs dance skater so racing her and winning was quite an accomplishment for me).
What do you get from Skating: I enjoy skating because it is a fun way to get exercise and be outdoors. I love feeling the breeze on my face that my own momentum creates.
Would like to do this Year in Skating: Complete 1/2 marathon at the Road Rash & feel comfortable on my new skates.
Coolest Accomplishment: Reaching the summit of Seneca Rocks, West Virginia, (1,000 feet), the first time rock climbing outdoors.
Other Sports/Hobbies you Enjoy: Rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking and kiting.
Favorite skating gadget/tool: My brake, when it arrives!
