Life Philosophy: Get the most out of every thing you do. Life is a big sand box.

Favorite Time of Day to Skate: Any time I can get together with other skaters! 6:00am for a long skate in the summer to late night full moon skates with other members of HCIC.

Favorite Skating Event: Monthly skate race at the Veloway and the Texas Road Rash Inline Marathon.

Awards/ Competitive Wins: 1st Road Rash, 1st Houston Marathon

Most Memorable Incident: Free skate in the mountains of New Mexico. Great uphills and very fast (scary) down hills. Luckily, no idiots or local wildlife in the way.

What do you get from Skating: Exercise without knee impact.

Other Sports/Hobbies you Enjoy: Mountain biking, drinking wine and skiing.

Favorite Skating Gadget/Tool: Must haves are a great skate bag, spare bearings, spacers and several long stem allen wrenchs to work on your frame and wheels.

Helpful advice to other skaters/ Beginners: Strong skating starts from balance and practice gliding on one foot.
